Position Summary

We are seeking a Commercial Assistant to support the Commercial Team in managing day-to-day operational activities across the entire supply chain - from raw material procurement and production coordination to customer service and logistics. This role is primarily administrative and coordinative, ensuring seamless communication and workflows between purchasing, sales, production, logistics, and quality management.

 

 

Primary tasks

 

Purchasing support

  • Handle administrative processing of raw material purchase orders
  • Maintain supplier data and contract documentation
  • Assist with price comparisons and market analysis
  • Prepare materials and documentation for supplier negotiations
     

Sales support

  • Prepare and follow up on customer quotations
  • Enter and process orders in the ERP system
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and product specifications
  • Maintain customer master data in internal systems
     

Order & logistics coordination

  • Coordinate with production planning and warehouse teams
  • Organize and track transports and shipments
  • Monitor delivery deadlines and ensure accurate volume reconciliation
     

Documentation & reporting

  • Prepare sales statistics and analysis reports
  • Manage filing and administration of trade-related documents
  • Provide support during audits and compliance reviews

 

 Personal profile

 

Qualifications

  • Completed commercial education
  • Initial professional experience (experience in the food or pet food industry will be a plus)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
  • Fluent English skills; good command of German
  • Structured, detail-oriented working style
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
